 FRANCHESCA WARREN IS THE ONLYN CANDIDATE WITH EXPERIENCE…

Award-winning educator Franchesca Warren has spent the last 18 years excelling as both an educator and community member. In 2016, she started the advocacy group South Fulton Parents for Education, which garnered coverage from the AJC, WSBTV, and more. In 2012, after her years of advocating for children, Franchesca was awarded the Teacher of the Year for South Atlanta School of Law and Social Justice.  

Leader in Education – After being frustrated with the state of education in South Fulton Parents of Education, Franchesca created an advocacy group that has over 2,000 parents and millions of impressions. In addition to her work in South Fulton, Franchesca is the organizer of the Teacher Self-Care Conference and the education website, The Educator’s Room where she receives millions of page views around all topics in education. She manages a staff of 45+ teachers who write daily on news in education. She was recently featured on EdWeek as the only conference addressing teacher mental health. 

Professional Learning—Franchesca spends hours working with teachers from around the country, helping them be more productive in the classroom. She regularly travels across the United States and is always on the cutting edge of education. She has authored several books on teaching and learning, which can be found here

Community & Youth Advocate – Franchesca is a frequent community speaker on all things education, starting with her beloved sorority, Alpha Kappa Education, and working with the youth around the metro Atlanta area. For the last 18 years, Franchesca has been a teacher, Instructional Coach, Content Specialist, and Literacy Coordinator working with students, parents, and community members.
